Sita Murt/ inaugurates a new concept store in Madrid

The historic firm, about to celebrate its centenary, inaugurates its second space in the capital with a boutique-style store that includes the permanent exhibition and exclusive sale of unique pieces from the firm's runway since 1992.

Located in the commercial area of Las Salesas in Madrid, the new Sita Murt/ store is conceived as a boutique with personalized service. A space that reflects the tradition, vision and know-how of the firm, whether in its knitwear collections, in the exhibition of the new corporate concept called Knitversality and especially in the sale and exhibition of premium vintage pieces of the firm itself.

An eclectic space, with touches of industrial and deco style, which merges elements such as iron, reinforcing the vestiges of the textile industry, and evoking the old fashion salons. The neon that invites you down the stairs to a paradise of knitwear, a tribute to the hundred years of Sita Murt/, stands out.

The first floor, under the name Archive, houses a permanent exhibition of unique vintage pieces from the firm's own fashion shows since 1992, exclusive pieces that are part of the brand's trajectory and that will be on sale exclusively in this space.

"It is a tribute to our legacy. We have opened the doors of the Sita Murt/ archive to show exclusively original pieces from our history. They are unique garments that are part of our Heritage and have been preserved in our Atelièr by our design and patternmaking team."

Visual elements that narrate historical moments of the firm stand out in the room, such as a display of old paintings or a selection of photographs of national top models who have paraded for the brand.

"With this store concept, in which we show our history, we want to establish an emotional bond with our customers. There are many who tell us stories of Sita Murt/ garments that they have inherited from their mothers or grandmothers; and in this space they relive those sensations; it's wonderful."
